Urbanization , Terrorism and other Social Issues

Urbanization is an important aspect of city life. As the population of the world is growing urbanization is also being considered.

Definition of Urbanization:

According to Wikipedia, it is defined as "Urbanization refers to the increasing number of people that live in urban areas."

By the definition we can say that the growing population of urban areas can be said as urbanization.

When people consider to improve their life style or for any other purpose they take the way of cities to avail the better facilities of health, education and transport. Motivations can be different but these are common which are import and considerable.

Growth of the Cities:

This flow of population toward cities affect the situation of urban life. When more people come in the city , it become necessary for government to provide them necessities of life. Water , and shelter are basic in this regard. So doing it for the large population of the city become a challenge for the government.

Materialism:

In this situation when people require facilities of life they start viewing other people also enjoying these facilities. As there is growth in the city and not people of the same social class live in the city. This diversity creates unpleasant feeling in the people. They want to compete with others while keeping their own standard high. It creates materialism. In this situation the poor don't feel good and the rich also feel that they are not having so many things in life.

Urbanization as a major problem:

As the world is seeming now we can see that there is terrorism which is considered as the most important problem for many countries. Even some third world countries are also facing this situation.  But there is another problem which should be handled as terrorism is. Especially third world countries consider it as important to handle with urbanization. It is as dangerous as terrorism and inflation is.
